COVID-19 Response

Our Response…

In these unprecedented days, it calls for some unprecedented responses. Adjustments must happen and sacrifices will be made from all. Through it all, we want to stand firm in our faith and belief that God is still in control and that His plans and purposes will be accomplished! During this time, let us dedicate ourselves to live in HOPE & LOVE in the midst of a world that is scrambling looking for answers!

Fairmount Wesleyan Church is taking intentional precautions necessary to serve our congregation and our community, while also doing our part to help eliminate the spread of the COVID-19 virus. After a number of conversations and much prayer, our leadership team has made the decision to NOT hold any live weekend services, youth group, or midweek gatherings for the time being. We will also be canceling some calendar events and limiting our office hours. We will continue to monitor the situation while seeking the wisdom of our government, district officials, and health experts in how we should continue to respond.

Join Us Online…

Since we are unable to meet in person, we will do our best to create a meaningful worship experience online. Each weekend we’ll be posting our sermon, some worship, and pertinent announcements. We invite you to join us as well as invite other family and friends to join in the watching of the service through our website and/or Facebook page.

To find a worship service, click the “Watch” tab on the top right-hand corner of your screen. Click on the picture under “Current Series” and then scroll to find the most recent sermon.

Giving…

An ongoing challenge for the church relates to tithes and offerings when church attendance is not normal. Your faithfulness in giving is not just about finances but also about worship and stewardship.

Here are some means that you can continue to give of your tithes and offerings:

  • Mail your tithe to the church office at 304 N. Walnut, St., Fairmount, IN 46928.
  • Online Giving– Go to the church website (www.fairmountwesleyan.com) and select the “Give” tab on the homepage. You’ll be given options for a one-time gift or reoccurring gifts.
  • Text-To-Give at 765-304-0340

If you have trouble or have questions, please email us at office@fairmountwelseyan.com.

Good Neighbor…

Let us each be proactive in taking time to check on those around us. Call, text, email, or send a note to your neighbors and community members. Find ways to encourage each other through prayer and conversation. Look for ways that you may be able to serve those around you with generosity and love. Here is a link that can provide you with some ideas on how to be a good neighbor during this time.
