Prayers For College Students

Pray for our collegians as they are taking their finals this week and finishing up the school year.

Coffee & Canvas

Saturday, April 28th, at The Branch you and some friends can drink coffee and paint profession style painting. Register for it by emailing The Branch

Fundraiser for Jayma Carender

Help Jayma be able to go to Diabetes Camp. There will be a spaghetti dinner at New Hope Baptist Church on May 12th from 3p-7p.

Fairmount Town Rummage

The town of Fairmount is having a town wide rummage on May 4-5. If you’d like to use the church parking lot to set up a rummage, please contact the church office. We ask that you make a financial donation for using the space. These donations will help send teens to church camp this summer!

Youth Service Day

The Youth group is meeting at the church at 3pm to go serve at Fairmount Wesleyan Camp ground. Make sure you have clothes that can get dirty. We will be back to the church at 6pm.

Last Kids Club & Prayer Service

This Wednesday, April 25th, will be the last day of Kids Club and Prayer Service. Club 56 will continue to meet in the month of May.

Summer Camp Schedule

  • Jr. High (Incoming 6th graders to outgoing 8th graders): June 11th-15th
  • Sr. High (Incoming Freshmen to graduating Seniors): June 17th-22nd

Ladies Event

Priscilla Shirer is coming to Grant County! She is an American author, motivational speaker, actress, and Christian evangelist speaker. She will be at Lakeview Wesleyan Church on April 28th from 9am till 4:35pm. This is an free event, but you MUST sign up by April 23rd. Congratulations Pastor Nick & Kasi! Blakely Hope was born Friday, March 30th. She weighed 6lbs, 15oz, and was 20 inches long. After a few bumps they are home today and doing well. Pastor Nick and Kasi thank you for all your prayers!

 

Prayer Service, Kids Club, and Club 56 is dismissed this Wednesday, April 4th.

 

New Sermon Series Join us Sunday as we start our new sermon series, “Labels”. The world loves to label people according to their weaknesses; Lonely. Afraid. Addict. Enemy. Powerless. But how does God see us? Chosen. Heir. Holy. Alive. Powerful. This month come get a new label –made exclusively by God just for you.

The Branch Needs YOU!

On April 2nd a& 3rd The Branch will be closed for cleaning and upkeep. They need volunteers those days who are willing to lend a little elbow grease to clean under every nook and cranny. If you can help in any way, please show up on either of those days starting at 8am.

Haiti Mission Team

Pray for team members Kevin & Allison VanPatten, Amanda Lyons, Bryce Luedtke, & Pastor Jeff as they serve in Haiti this week. 

Mid-Week Services

Kids Club, Club56, and Prayer Meeting are dismissed Wednesday, March 28th and Wednesday, April 4th.

Let’s Make Room

Can you help us make sure our guests are welcomed and and valued this Easter season? Let’s create parking close to the building by utilizing the overflow parking at Horner’s. Consider attending the 9:00am worship service to make room in the 10:30am worship service. Make sure to greet and talk to those we may not know. Let’s assist young families as they check in their children or look for classes.

All Church Skating Party

On Thursday, March 29th you and your family are invited to the Idyl Wyld Skating Rink (4013 S. Meridian St, Marion) between 6:30pm-8:00pm. Skate rental is $2 per person (Inline Skates $4).

Fairmount Fun Wear

Stop by the Welcome Center to order a t-shirt or sweatshirt to show your Fairmount Wesleyan pride. Each order will also support the Haiti Mission Trip with a small percentage. Orders deadline has been extended to April 1st so everyone has a chance to order their fun wear!

Haiti Missions Fundraisers

There are two opportunities you have to help raise funds for the Haiti Missions Team.

  1. Tuesday, March 13th, come and eat supper at Moe’s (816 N. Baldwin, Marion) between 5pm & 9pm. A percentage of each sale will go towards their trip.
  2. Fairmount Fun Wear t-shirts and sweatshirts. Order forms on are located in the Welcome Center or click here to print one off. Forms must be turned into the office by March 25th.

New Sermon Series

This month we start our new sermon series, “Villains”. A villain is described as a malicious person or one involved in a wickedness. Some individuals in Jesus’ day were driven to betray, lie, and do what they could to destroy Jesus. As we study some villains who had a role in Jesus’ crucifixion, we will examine our lives to see where our relationship with Jesus is. District Youth All-Nighter

Please make sure that you have filled out the SkyZone waiver form before Friday, Feb. 23rd. If you do not, your student(s) will NOT be able to jump. Have your student(s) dropped off at the church parking lot by 5:45pm on Feb. 23rd. Pick up will be on Feb 24th at 7am in church parking lot.

Discover Class

Discover the basics of faith and find your fit at Fairmount Wesleyan. This is a great class for those who are new to the church or exploring what Christianity is all about. Join us in Room 401 at 10:30am each Sunday. During the month of February the class will be looking at Spiritual Gifts, Personality Profiles, and Strength Finders.

Looking for something to do? Rachel Bortoff & Aaron Secaur will be performing their favorite acoustic songs and hits on Saturday, Feb. 24th starting at 7:30pm. This event is for the whole family and is FREE!

Closed-Circuit Service

For those who don’t want to struggle with the stairs getting into the sanctuary but still want to be a part of the worship service, we have an option for you. You are invited to participate with the morning service in Room 205 at 10:30am through a closed-circuit TV setup.
