We are so excited you are thinking about what might be next in your journey of loving God, connecting with others, and reaching the world. We are here to help you! If you want to take a step that’s not on this page, just talk with a pastor and we can work together to find what might be a good next step for you.
We often read in the Bible about the importance of loving one another, caring for one another, confessing to one another, and praying for one another; this is exactly what we have designed our Small Groups to be. Our Small Groups are a great place to get connected to others at Fairmount Wesleyan. Each time you meet you can expect to catch up with one another’s weeks, eating some kind of snack or meal, and praying for each other. If there’s time we will discuss that week’s sermon and how we can apply it to our lives.
In our Welcome Center, you’ll find an up-to-date listing of times and places each Small Group is meeting.
Did you know the Bible says the Bible is confusing? It does! Just check out 2 Peter 3:16. Because of this, we’ve set up our Sunday school classes to be a place to learn more about what the Bible teaches and how it intersects our lives. Our classes focus on either teaching through the books of the Bible or a biblical approach to a topic like prayer or marriage.
Every March, June, September, and December we begin a new offering of the books and subjects being covered. To find out what the current offerings are, just head to the Welcome Center where all of that information is available or click here.
Reach the World
Maybe you’re the type of person who is thinking, “Sure Sunday school and Small Groups sound nice, but where do I get to actually serve the people of Fairmount?” That’s awesome! Your heart is right in line with us. Throughout the year we try to reach out into our community and serve them however we can. We always have some big outreach on the horizon and many other opportunities to serve.
If you want to get involved check out our Welcome Center for how we’re reaching out next!
Throughout the year we offer other opportunities to grow deeper in your love for God. Visiting the Welcome Center is a great way to see the latest listings of Bible studies, prayer services, and other ministries we have going on.
