Our mission is to
provide a fun and safe environment for each child and family
to learn biblical truth,
and be equipped to love others.
The Core Values we live by are
Kids Life is committed to having a fun and safe atmosphere. When every child comes in, they will be greeted, loved and accepted. They will play exciting games, put together the coolest crafts and sing songs of praise. In order for that to happen, we make sure that there is a strict safety policy put into place. Please see the safety pamphlet that describes into detail how we are fulfilling that.
Nothing would bring our hearts more joy than seeing a child come to know Jesus and accept Him as their personal savior. We will help make this a reality by being committed to teaching the Salvation story and having teachers share their own personal salvation stories on a regular basis.
Helping children learn is our number one priority in Kids Life. We use a Biblically based curriculum that emphasizes the teachings of the Wesleyan Church.
Fruit of the Spirit
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things, there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23
In Kids Life, we want to teach children what the fruit of the Spirit is and how to develop them in their life. That way they can grow into who God created them to be and begin to make disciples of all nations.
While we love kids, we love their whole family as well. You’ll probably see a lot of “Take Home” papers. These are tools for you to connect with your kids and grow in Christ…together. Also be looking out for Big family events!
The age groups we serve are
Nursery (birth-24 months)
Toddlers (2-3 yrs old)
Pre-K (4-5 yrs old)
Elementary (1st grade-4th grade)
Club 56 (5th and 6th graders)
We use the Gospel Project curriculum for all of our Children’s Ministry. This curriculum immerses kids in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to the mission from Genesis to all the way to Revelation.
Kids Club is for 5yrs old-4th-grade students. This happens on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30 pm. They meet at the Church on the 100 level where they have activities with a group lesson, games, and a meal. This is a night focused on helping students build and grow their relationship with Christ. It is also for students who may night know what “church” is and gives them a look into it.
Club56 Night is exactly like a Youth Group setting, but for 5th and 6th-grade students only. They meet at our Family Life Center, located on the corner of 2nd and Walnut, from 6:30-7:30 pm on Wednesday Nights’ with a lesson focused on helping them grow as young preteens and to get a feel of what youth group is like.
