LOVE GOD
- Sunday Songs - Are you interested in listening to the songs you sang at church on Sunday? You can! The songs will be listed here each week for you to look up on YouTube or Spotify:

- Prayer - Please pray over the upcoming mission trips to Guatemala (July) and Ghana (September). Ask for God's protection and provision as the teams bond and prepare
- Prayer Retreat - "Come away and rest awhile" (Jesus, Mark 6:31) - Come try a 6-hour prayer retreat June 22, 9am-3pm. This is a time for rest, solitude, prayer, and meditation (bring a Bible and journal. Other materials will be provided if needed). Cost is $7 for lunch, snacks, and drinks. Contact Amy here with questions and/or to sign up.

DISCOVER YOUR PURPOSE
- Spiritual Disciplines - spiritual disciplines are ways to place yourself in a position to hear from and experience God. Over the next several weeks, information will be listed here to give you resources on trying various disciplines. The primary requirement is a longing for God (Psalm 42:1-2). He is the object of our worship, so the focus is Him rather than "getting it right" or checking a box.
- "If we do not change from the inside-out, if we don't morph, we will be tempted to find external methods to satisfy our need to feel that we're different from those outside the faith. If we cannot be transformed, we will settle for being informed or conformed." - John Ortberg
- Simplicity - believing happiness is not found in the abundance of possessions but in the fewness of our wants. (Matt. 6:19-33; Ecc. 7:30; Ps. 62:10; Prov. 11:28; Luke 16:13)
- Ten ideas to practice Simplicity:
- 1. Buy things for their usefulness rather than their status.
- 2. Reject anything that is producing an addiction in you.
- 3. Develop a habit of giving things away.
- 4. Refuse to be propagandized by the custodians of modern gadgetry.
- 5. Learn to enjoy things without owning them.
- 6. Develop a deeper appreciation for the Creation.
- 7. Look with a healthy skepticism at all “buy now, pay later” schemes.
- 8. Obey Jesus’ instructions about plain, honest speech.
- 9. Reject anything that breeds the oppression of others.
- 10. Shun anything that distracts you from seeking first the kingdom of God.
- Ten ideas to practice Simplicity:
- Discover Your Purpose Class – What is your great joy and passion in life? How has God uniquely gifted you to make an impact for His Kingdom? This interactive class is designed to help you find your identity in Christ, learn your spiritual gifts, and discover how you were uniquely designed to make a difference in the world. The next class is offered May 21, 6-8pm at Luedtke’s house (6629 SE 00 W, Jonesboro). Supper is provided. Sign up here by May 19.
- Discover Your Purpose 2 Class - all new! If you have been through the first Discover Your Purpose Class, then this sequel class is for you! DYP2 promotes a deeper connection with God by teaching rhythms to intentionally set our lives on Jesus. It's about spiritual transformation. As in DYP1, this class will be interactive and discussion-oriented but more meditative in nature. Supper and a free book is provided for each participant. Sign up here with Amy Luedtke for the June 12, 6-8pm, class at 6629 SE 00 W, Jonesboro.

- The tech team is looking for those willing to help upstairs during services. Let Megan know here if you're up to trying something new!
- As we look toward late summer, we are hopeful for the Branch service to start back up. If you would be interested in volunteering to help with tech, hospitality, worship, etc. at this new venue, please let Pastor Jeff know here
- Vacation Bible School - July 15-18 is our VBS for kids Pre K-6th grade. If you're interested in leading children to Jesus, fixing snacks, playing games, etc., please contact Samantha Mason here or text her at (765) 661-9683
Summer Bible Trivia Contest
For fun, let's get some summer competition going with Bible Trivia! You do not have to be the first to respond, just get the right answer before the new question is posted each Wednesday. Accumulate points for an end-of-summer (August 14) prize! Families can work together to earn points. Kids must answer the kid question. To answer, email Pastor Amy here
