- Guy's Canoe Trip - meet at 1pm at the church on August 3 to head to White Rock Recreation in Wabash. Cost is $25/person. Sign up and pay here to reserve.a spot.

DISCOVER YOUR PURPOSE
- Spiritual Disciplines - spiritual disciplines are ways to place yourself in a position to hear from and experience God. Over the next several weeks, information will be listed here to give you resources on trying various disciplines. The primary requirement is a longing for God (Psalm 42:1-2). He is the object of our worship, so the focus is Him rather than "getting it right" or checking a box.
- Celebration - an act of the will to set your mind on higher things of life. Joy is a result of a consciously chosen way of thinking and living to follow the Holy Spirit (it's a fruit and a discipline). John 15:11; Phil. 4:4-8; Ex. 15:20, 2 Sam. 6:14, 16; Ps. 118:24
- Genuine joy comes from obedience and delighting in the small gifts God offers each day. Focus on these things this week.

Summer Bible Trivia Contest
For fun, let's get some summer competition going with Bible Trivia! You do not have to be the first to respond, just get the right answer before the new question is posted each Wednesday. Accumulate points for an end-of-summer (August 14) prize! Families can work together to earn points. Kids must answer the kid question. To answer, email Pastor Amy here
