LOVE GOD

  • Baptism - Have you given your heart to Jesus and made Him Lord over your life? It's time to take the next step and share it in public through the sacrament of baptism! It's a celebration like none other, and your church family wants to celebrate your decision. Our next baptism is September 7 in the morning worship gathering. If you have questions or want to sign up, click here
  • Sunday Songs - Are you interested in listening to the songs you sang at church on Sunday? You can! The songs will be listed here each week for you to look up and enjoy worship throughout the week:
    • God So Loved - We The Kingdom
    • King of Kings - Brooke Ligertwood & Hillsong
    • Same God - Elevation Worship
    • Firm Foundation (He Won't) - Maverick City Music
    • I Speak Jesus - Charity Gayle

CONNECT WITH OTHERS

  • Collegian Adoptables (for collegians) - Hey college students, would like to be adopted by a family in the church for the school year? If so, let us know. We have families that are willing to come alongside you during the school year to be your adopted family. This ministry is a great way to get to know each other, have prayer support for the school year, and even have a home to crash at when you need to get off campus. Click here to sign up
  • Collegian Adoptables (for families) - Our collegians will be back in town very soon. Would you be up for being an encouragement to them? Ways to do that would be inviting them to sit by you in church, having them for a meal at your home or taking them out, sending an encouraging note, etc. If you'd like to invest in some college students as an "adoptable family," please sign up with Pastor Jeff here.

DISCOVER YOUR PURPOSE

  • Making Disciples - As we walk through the current sermon series on Multiplying: Disciples Making Disciples, let us consider over the next few weeks how to "pray circles" around our mission field. Consider places and people you would like to pray to see come to Christ.
    • Prayer Walking as Spiritual Warfare - What to Pray:
      • Praise God for who He is - name His attributes that seem especially relevant to that place
      • Thank God for answers to prayer that you’ve already seen
      • Express gratitude for the people and community where you find yourself
      • Proclaim the truth of Scripture over your community
      • Ask for specific intervention and change where that is needed
      • Persistently intercede for salvations - especially of your People of Peace
      • In faith look for the presence and power of the Spirit to break out in tangible ways
      • Speak blessings wherever you possibly can!
      • Whatever is on your heart to pray

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Bridges Mentoring - one child, one hour per week. Would you be interested in mentoring a child at Park Elementary? They will work with your schedule and provide resources to give one child special attention who needs it. Pick up a flyer on the Welcome Center pallet wall.
  • Be a Branch Volunteer During James Dean Days! - Could you help by giving a shift (or two, or three) to the Branch during James Dean - September 26-27? Extra hands helping with dishes, trash, cleaning, and having conversations with customers will be so welcome! Email Jared here if you're willing!
  • Run 4 Ghana! - see the flyer below or at the church mission board in the Welcome Center or go to run4ghana.com here to sign up to be a part of the walk or run for Ghana, Africa! FWC partners with New Light Children's Home in Ghana, Africa and this is one of their local fundraisers. See you there!
