Discipleship/Mentoring - FWC is actively seeking mentors for new baptizees. Once someone gets baptized here, we'd love for them to have a connection in the church starting with a 4-meeting commitment including sharing stories, reading the Bible, praying, and connecting into a community of believers (this curriculum is provided). Have you ever thought you might have something to offer another person and help them along on their spiritual journey? A disciple is someone who makes more disciples. Sharing life and sharing stories is the starting point for this to happen. If you would be open to discipling or mentoring someone younger in their faith (whether short or long term), email Amy here. Likewise, if you would like to have a mentor, use the same email link.

Discover Your Purpose 2 Class - all new! If you have been through the first Discover Your Purpose Class, then this sequel class is for you! DYP2 promotes a deeper connection with God by teaching rhythms to intentionally set our lives on Jesus. It's about spiritual transformation. As in DYP1, this class will be interactive and discussion-oriented but more meditative in nature. Supper and a free book are provided for each participant. Podcast Recommendation - Heaven Meets Earth - miracle stories. This podcast is uplifting and thought provoking as they deal with near death experiences, spiritual warfare, denominational differences, etc. It is supported by CBN and Museum of the Bible, and guests have been featured on Focus on the Family and other reputable organizations. Fall Block Party - FWC partners with other local churches to host a community block party. This year, the party will be on Nov. 1, 4-6pm. If you're willing to volunteer (set up, clean up, games, etc), contact the office here. As well, we will need individually wrapped candy - if you can, bring bags of candy to the church office by October 26.
