  • Spiritual Disciplines - spiritual disciplines are ways to place yourself in a position to hear from and experience God. Over the next several weeks, information will be listed here to give you resources on trying various disciplines. The primary requirement is a longing for God (Psalm 42:1-2). He is the object of our worship, so the focus is Him rather than "getting it right" or checking a box.
    • Service/Secrecy - Service abolishes our need and desire for a "pecking order;" it helps most with humility. Secrecy avoids getting credit for doing good. With these disciplines, we rely on God for our affirmation and approval (John 13:14-15; 1 Cor. 4:13; Matt. 6:3-4, 6, 18; Phil. 2:3-4)
      • Pick someone in your life to immerse in prayer. Don't tell anyone.
      • Make an anonymous lavish donation to an organization or to someone in need.
      • Memorize a portion a Scripture to live deeply by without anyone knowing.
      • Serve those who can give you no status or clout, like children, the elderly, or developmentally challenged.

  • Volunteers Needed
    • As we look toward late summer, we are hopeful for the Branch service to start back up. If you would be interested in volunteering to help with tech, hospitality, worship, etc. at this new venue, please let Pastor Jeff know here
