O u r s t o r y
The Branch is an extension of Fairmount Wesleyan Church, and seeks to be a place for the community of Fairmount, Indiana to share coffee and share life. We love good coffee and food, and believe that these can be an avenue for us to connect with one another.
During the summer of 2016 the leadership at the church had a desire to intentionally connect with our community. Through prayer and planning the dream of starting a community coffee shop with a meeting space was developed. God provided equipment, volunteers, resources, connections, and more throughout the process. In May 2017, the doors were opened to the public for the first time. The Branch quickly grew from just a 'coffee shop' to a restaurant that serves sandwiches, soups, salads, pastries, along with all the coffee favorites.
The Branch also provides a space to serve the community. Business meetings, open houses, parties, showers, and more have all gathered in the Loft of the Branch to celebrate, meet, and build relationships.
Our team works hard to ensure our food, drinks, and environment, are welcoming and full of hospitality. Whether you visit our coffeeshop, are looking to rent our space, or you want to have us cater for your next gathering or meeting we can't wait to connect with and serve you.

Our spacious, upstairs loft can accommodate many different group sizes. Our loft includes a TV for presenting or video conferencing and a white board. If you are looking for something smaller, we also have a cozy studio room, complete with a work table, a love seat, and a whiteboard. It will comfortably seat 6.
